May 2026 — Our paper “Causal Model-Based Reinforcement Learning for Sample-Efficient IoT Channel Access” appeared at IEEE ICC 2026, Glasgow. Open-access version

21 May 2026 — Students visited the 5G Use Case Lab for a demonstration of the 5G server and a camera-based people-counting application.

May 2026 — Two third-year B.Tech. teams I mentored won first and second place in Task 1 of the CONVERGE Signal Processing Challenge at IEEE ICASSP 2026, Barcelona. Vision-first paper · Vision–radio fusion paper

8 Apr 2026 — Our 5G Use Case Lab launched IIT Tirupati’s internal hackathon as part of DoT’s 5G Innovation Hackathon 2026.

14–15 Mar 2026 — I coordinated “Master 5G by Building It,” a hands-on OpenAirInterface workshop attended by around 100 students at IIT Tirupati.

6 Feb 2026 — I delivered a session on the foundational pillars of 6G to 53 Indian Telecom Service officer trainees visiting IIT Tirupati.

Jan 2026 — I was elevated to IEEE Senior Member.

9 Dec 2025 — We invited faculty to a demonstration of IIT Tirupati’s newly established 5G Use Case Lab.

Mar 2025 — Salil Kashyap and I delivered a tutorial on simultaneously transmitting and reflecting surfaces at NCC 2025, IIT Delhi.

Dec 2024 — Our paper “Machine Learning Accelerated Antenna Selection for an Underlay Spectrum Sharing System” received an Honorable Mention at IEEE ANTS 2024, IIT Guwahati.

Oct 2024 — Our team was a runner-up at the Amaravati Drone Hackathon 2024; I received the award from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu on behalf of the team.

Dec 2023: Our paper titled “Joint Transmit Antenna Selection and Passive Beamforming in IRS-Aided OTFS Systems” has been accepted in NCC 2024.

Nov 2023: Delivered a guest lecture on “Introduction to Wireless Communication” to the under graduate students at Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry

Nov 2023: Our paper titled “BeamSync: Over-The-Air Synchronization for Distributed Massive MIMO Systems”  has been accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications.
